Inadvisable

Hello. I'm Andy. I live in Jersey City, and I eat kid fingers.

My job: Working behind-the-scenes on a weekly news magazine ... loving, hating, and driving for money and power.

You can listen to my radio show, 'Shut Up, Weirdo,' Fridays at 6pm on WFMU.

The official SUW blog is here. Co-host Frangry blogs here.

A beer garden just opened two blocks from my apartment in downtown Jersey City!
“The atmosphere of this Jersey City Beer Garden is fun and friendly, with 800 soon to be close friends.  It is a casual atmosphere with community seating, relaxed atmosphere and no reservations. Come taste some of the best food Jersey City has to offer and sample our impressive beer selection, which boasts 144 draft lines of European beers and American craft brews. Variety! Order fresh draft beers from an incredible selection of European beer and American craft brews that flow through 144 beer taps. Order a mug, or liter. If you are not sure, try a multiple selection or “flight” of four different beers served in 5 oz. glasses. Hungry? Order one of a dozen delicious oversize portions of grilled sausage, or a variety of specialty burgers from our grill window. You can also flag a server and order any grill item or choose from an incredible variety of Bavarian dishes prepared in our kitchen and brought to your table. Along with your favorite brew of course! Zeppelin Hall has both a pub and a huge indoor hall so we are open rain or shine 52 weeks a year!”

Hold on: A zeppelin-theme restaurant-bar on the edge of Jersey City? This sounds like it could be the plot of “The Producers II: Curse of the Hindenburg.” Oh, the humanity!

Remember what they say about Jersey: It’s not the heat. It’s the humanity.
